Operating from a place of love!

Updated: Dec 6, 2020

It’s another beautiful week and I’m excited to share with you something that truly enabled me to have the most incredible year! What I mean by incredible is to be in a constant state of gratitude, joy, and peace. Stumbling across Kyle Cease on YouTube is probably the best thing that ever happened to me. What I love about him is that, in this sometimes jaded world, where it’s easy for us to be stressed and operate from a place of fear, he constantly reminds us to operate from a place of love.

It may come off quite simple but one of my favourite sayings by him is “When doing something, think if it feels light or heavy. If it feels light, move towards it. If it feels heavy, let it go.” I took this to heart religiously last year, and I really thought if this feels light or heavy in any situation; may it be a person, food, work or any circumstance that I was presented with. The more I kept letting go if the energy I felt was heavy, the more my life opened up and bombarded me with people and events that only felt lighter and lighter. So how could one not feel grateful and joyful after all!

When we do things where the energy feels heavy, we’re teaching our bodies to think that that’s the energy we want in life. We attract the energy we give out, so the more we do and hold on to thing that feels heavy, we are presented with things in life that are going to help us sustain that energy. When we let go, I’m sure we’ve all had a moment where we let go of something that felt draining, may it be a job, a relationship, or any person in your life; a friend or family or anything else that felt draining to you, you know you feel a sense of relief and peace in that moment when you finally let go. It also shows your body and mind the energy you do want, it allows the body to finally release the blocked energies and open up more space and allow in more energy that feels light. This is why sometimes after a big change, or a breakup, or a big move, you might also find yourself attracting so many opportunities and people that help you feel more light and at peace.

Sometimes it’s hard to let go because our ego mind would keep telling us reasons why we should hold on to it, as it fears change and the unknown. It’s comfortable with the narrative it’s created so it’s definitely going to fight you in trying to let go. To quote Kyle on this as to why we fear change; “Our mind can only measure what we can lose, not what we can gain.” Whether we think of what we’ll lose, or gain, both scenarios are illusory. These are scenarios we create in our minds as possibilities which in reality may or may not happen. But you can at least know the moment you move towards something that feels light, you’re vibrating from that higher energy and you are going to upgrade your life from where you are now.

When we are chasing after something, after money, jobs, relationships, etc., we are functioning from a place of lack. We are saying we don’t have this right now and we might even have subconscious beliefs we’ve formed such as; we have to work hard to achieve something or money doesn’t grow on trees, etc. These subconscious beliefs only help reaffirm the feeling of lack and then we are only attracting situations or manifesting in our reality things that let us continue living in a place of lack. But the moment you come in to this present moment, Now, and view things just as they are with no narrative around the event, your brain and body is calm and at peace. If you can continue being in this state, you are attracting to yourself and manifesting a reality that allows you to continue living in this peaceful state.

I’m not saying we don’t need to take any physical action at all but just that when we are operating from a place of love and not fear, we are tapping into seeing things as they are and have more clarity around any situation. It will present us or rather enable us to see things around us that can help us in whatever the task we are undertaking. It will allow us to think rationally and intentionally, and not just succumb to the chatter of our mind when it’s bringing up ideas and solutions based off of fear. When we are operating from a state of fear and driven by the ego mind it makes us anxious about the choices you make and bring in a narrative that is not real. We are conditioned to hold on to these narratives and create our life around it in an imagined world, and forget to live in the real reality of the present moment, Now.

When we are operating from a place of love, we only feel love towards everything we do, there are no ill feelings towards anything, there’s no bias and you don’t see things as good and bad, just as they are. Imagine in a world where we kill each other to be right, for beliefs that we believe is what is right or wrong as we view it, if we take away the beliefs of right and wrong, just embrace seeing things exactly as they are and can be at peace with it, without the need to impose the narrative of how we think it should be, maybe just maybe we would have less suffering in the world.

I hope you take a few minutes to see for yourself to ask what I’m doing now, does this feel light or heavy, and see how you go!

Kyle is such a beautiful soul that he spreads so much love, it's contagious and inspiring. Since I first ever stumbled across him, I've been sharing his content with anyone and everyone in my life. A lot of people who do help train people to get beyond themselves to heal or achieve certain tasks do it with a great intention but it's always been centred around the results of what you'll gain or achieve, but being present entails so much more and Kyle taps into that.

"Illusion of Money" by Kyle is one of his books you would not regret checking out or the documentary. You can find all his content on kylecease.com.
